  • Week of January 8, 2018: We recently lost Austrian guitarist and lutenist Konrad Ragossnig (6 May 1932 – 1 January 2018). Let's reflect back on his musical legacy.

  • Week of January 1, 2018: “Happy New Year with Celso Machado and Paolo Bellinati!” We celebrate the new year with music from the renowned Brazilian composers Machado and Bellinati!

  • Week of December 25, 2017: "Christmas Joy!"--a fortuitous landing of December 25 on Monday night lets us go all out with our joyful celebration of the Christmas season. But you hear the unexpected here on "Inside Classical Guitar"--everything from the beautiful traditional to "Marley's Ghost" and the Winter movement of the Four Seasons (but not Vivaldi this time, tune in to hear!).

  • Week of December 18, 2017: "Christmas Cheer"--Holiday music, both familiar and less so, played by the Boccherini Guitar Quartet, Los Romeros, and concluding with an incredible solo arrangement of Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride" by St. Louis native guitarist Douglas Niedt!

  • Week of December 11, 2017: Tune in in hear three legendary concertos--written by Joaquin Rodrigo and Manuel Ponce--performed by legendary guitarists: Spaniards Pepe Romero and Virginia Luque, and Australian John Williams!

  • Week of December 4, 2017: This week a double focus: the form is dance, and the performer is the deservedly-popular guitarist Jorge Morel! Starting with his legendary Danza Brasiliera, then his five movement suite entitled Latin Impressions, through Bustament's amazing Missionera, music by Agustin Barrios, and more!

  • Week of November 27, 2017: SPECIAL PROGRAM: ALL MUSIC FROM THE KITHARA DUO, performing in St. Louis December 2, 2017, 8:00 pm at the Ethical Society!

  • Week of November 20, 2017: Join us for our special "Giving Thanks" program of music for Thanksgiving. Features beautiful selections from the Small-Torres Guitar Duo, St. Louisan John McClellan, and Christopher Parkening!

  • Week of November 13, 2017: Our program this week looks back on the recorded legacy of the late Cuban guitarist Ernesto Tamayo, who passed away in October 2014. Music by J.S. Bach, Sylvius Leopold Weiss, Manuel Ponce, Federico Moreno-Torroba, Francisco Tárrega, and Isaac Albeniz.
