Highlights: A mashup of Rodrigo! Spanish composer Joaquin Rodrigo (1901 - 1999) wrote four concertos for the guitar, two of which we will present tonight. We hand-picked these 'mashup' concertos, featuring a different guitarist for each movement. 'Concierto de Aranjuez' was Rodrigo's first and most famous concerto featuring guitar, and 'Fantasía para un gentilhombre' was written using themes from Baroque guitar works of Gaspar Sanz (1640 - 1710).
