The Cheshire Hotel

A St. Louis tradition with roots dating back to the 1920s, The Cheshire embodies the charm and authenticity of a traditional British inn with all the modern conveniences of today. Now, after undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation, eighteenth century antiques and historical fixtures live alongside flat-screen TVs and granite bathrooms, with hand-carved mantle in the living room to stained glass windows throughout. We are thrilled to begin this new chapter in the great story that is The Cheshire, and we look forward to making our home yours. (http://www.facebook.com/thecheshirestl)

Whitaker Foundation

A private foundation in Saint Louis, Missouri, The Whitaker Foundation was begun by Mae Meissner Whitaker in memory of her husband Lyndon. In addition to encouraging the preservation and use of parks, the Foundation supports the enrichment of lives through the arts.

The Arts provide a breadth and depth of experience that touch our lives and enrich our region. By investing in creative experiences of St. Louisians we help toward the discovery of ourselves, each other and our community. By supporting excellence in the arts, we promote art forms and institutions that challenge, entertain, and contribute to our overall quality of life.
